@mob__mentality@ChristophLucian Great talk! Noticed Zen mobbing is often focused on the continuity of development over time in addition to making the next most important thing quickly. When focus shifts in this way, knowledge sharing becomes more important.
Hey everyone @KentBeck says in this video that Facebook does most of their work with #NoEstimates and a review of tasks shows only 1.5% of all tasks have due dates set. https://t.co/964KtBCgCY at 36:00
My team at Kin Insurance is looking for a Senior(ish) Engineer who is passionate about or is interested in getting into mob/ensemble programming. Our team finds strength in diversity and inclusion and if you share this value and have any questions feel free to reach out.
@Twittfort In my experience, when mobbing on mundane tasks they typically become automated.
The mob I am on does not enjoy this type of work and will generally automate it. We did this just today.
These guys had it figured out (from direct experience) and tried to spread the word. Well, let 's keep spreading it, and DOING it. I personally can attest to what they're saying.

We estimate well what we did many times before.
We automate what is repetitive or time consuming.
To estimate something well one must have repeated it many times before and not automated it.
Why would we not automate a thing repeated many times before?
