🚨 Our Trading Standards team carried out an undercover test purchase operation in West Bromwich yesterday.

They visited four shops and, disappointingly, three sold alcohol to our 15 year old volunteer 👇

🚫 In Smethwick, HMRC seized 3,400 packets of illicit tobacco with a retail value of £40k+

Tipton NHT, @sandwellts & partnerships attended a store in Great Bridge that was selling tobacco products to under 18's & counterfeits. 6692 packs of illegal cigarettes & 50 pouches of illegal tobacco were seized. Approx duty value of £45,000. Illegal vapes & alcohol also seized.
