What I am upset about is how many of those who took it, including my old coworkers, stood by and did nothing while millions of us had our lives turned upside down.

And not only that but I had people telling me that I should have known better and just have taken it.

Well, I did know better.

And that’s why I didn’t take it.

It’s our choice and that should have been respected.

1. He's the sitting President.
2. He's having a VERY successful first term.
3. Presidents usually run for reelection.
4. He handily beat the GOP frontrunner.

It all took just 25 days. From noticing the first case, to isolating and sequencing the genetic structure of the infectious agent, to developing the specific diagnostic (PCR) test, to describing the first series of cases in the @NEJM. (This final step would normally take at least 3 months).
Listen to this and then tell the world with a straight face that it took just 25 days to identify COVID-19 as a novel, exhaustively defined entity that, it was already known after just 25 days, had the capacity to kill millions around the world.
