Honored and absolutely delighted to win the Rising Star of Wellness award — coming right off the high of co-organizing GWEC 2026 and coordinating the Medwell Podcast. This one means more than words can capture. Grateful for every person who believed in this work. #GWEC2026
We are Thrilled to witness the launch of the #RwandaFeministTechNetwork. We look forward to exploring how technology can advance sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and youth empowerment in Rwanda.
“Lasting change begins with conversations that bring together diverse voices, experiences, and ideas”.
Today, @doctors_women successfully convened stakeholders from across different sectors to officially establish the Rwanda Fem Tech Network (RFTN). This aimed to advance gender equality and inclusion within Rwanda’s growing technology and innovation landscape.
The discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration, collective learning, mentorship, ethical innovation, and creating spaces where women and girls can actively participate in shaping the future of technology. The establishment of RFTN marks an important step toward strengthening connections among individuals and organizations working at the intersection of gender, technology, innovation, and social justice.
This is just the beginning, and RFTN look forward to growing this community and advancing impactful conversations and actions.
This week, @MSFC_Rwanda conducted a school outreach at GS Gisagara A, educating students on comprehensive SRHR.
The aim is to nurture future pro-healthcare providers and empower young people with accurate, rights-based information.
