One of few oldest Universities in the world. T0day’s màthematics stàrted thère, Timbuktu in Mali 🇲🇱 had its humble origins in about 11○○ BC, when it was founded as a seasonal camp by Tuareg nomads.

However, its location just on the edge of a desert meant that it became an important trading capital, and by the 14th century it was fundamental to the salt and gold trade. Its educational tradition dates back to its 13th-century incorporation into the Mali Empire, where the dominant religion was Islam, and several mosques were founded.

England occupied Egypt with 80,000 soldiers, of which only 1,000 were British and the remaining were recruits from its colonies (mainly Indians).

France occupied Syria with an army made of Africans (mainly from Algeria and Senegal).

Moral of the story: our weakness is what makes our enemy strong. #Africa

Vice President Dr. Philip Mpango led various leaders at the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF 2023) meeting, which commenced today, September 5, 2023, at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre in Dar es Salaam.

Africa's Food Systems Forum 2023 Summit's theme, "Recover, Regenerate, Act: Africa's Solutions to Food Systems Transformation," focuses on building better food systems and sovereignty with youth and women at the center.

Garvey was the father of the black nationalist and pan african movements, activist & founder of the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League (UNIA-ACL)

Color Meaning:
Red: the blood that unites all people of Black African ancestry, and shed for liberation;

Black: for the people whose existence as a nation, though not a nation-state, is affirmed by the existence of the flag.
