I dag har jeg afprøvet Teslas selvkørende teknologi.
I en time kørte bilen rundt i Århus - uden at chaufføren rørte rattet.

Jeg følger udviklingen inden for selvkørende biler tæt, men det var alligevel en surrealistisk oplevelse.

Bilen kørte turen perfekt.

Den kørte sikkert gennem snørklede veje, navigerede i tæt trafik, ventede på modkørende ved vejarbejde, lavede u-vendinger, bakkede osv.

Teknologien må endnu ikke sælges i EU.

Til februar skal den hollandske færdselstyrelse vurdere om teknologien er sikker nok til europæiske veje.

En godkendelse her kan åbne for teknologien i andre EU-lande også.

Jeg anser det for meget sandsynligt, at det kan benyttes i Danmark inden for 1-2 år.

Regarding Tesla, the reality is that I have been given nothing.

However, if I lead Tesla to become the most valuable company in the world by far and it stays that way for 5 years, shareholders voted to award me 12% of what is built. Anyone who wants to come along for the ride can buy Tesla stock.

If Tesla “merely” becomes a $1.999 trillion dollar company, I get nothing. This is a great deal for shareholders, which is why they voted so overwhelmingly to approve this, for which I am immensely grateful.

And they did so by a margin far more than you won your political seat.
