“Tinubu’s government did not listen to our online posts, they did not listen to our videos. The only language they listen to is protest and PVC. Everyday, they are killing our brothers, r@p!ng our mothers, sisters & daughters. 95% of terrorism in Nigeria is happening in the North while only like 5% happens in the South, yet Southerners came out to stage a protest while in Arewa we keep sleeping”
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
TINUBU MUST GO!!!
- Northern Actor Sadiq Sani Sadiq continues to call for protests.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: We northerners have failed this country, and I say that with a heavy heart. For too long, we have remained silent in the face of the insecurity destroying our communities. Today, VeryDarkMan is in Abuja speaking up and demanding action on issues we should have confronted ourselves.
While insecurity continues to worsen across Northern Nigeria, it is disappointing to see some celebrities rushing to Abuja to endorse the government instead of standing with the victims. The North needs voices that will speak truth to power, not applause for those in authority.
— A cleric from Northern Nigeria
I am devastated by reports of the killing of scores of citizens in Kanam LGA of Plateau State. This attack, like all other attacks on innocent citizens, stands condemned. There can never be a justification for this wanton destruction of lives and properties.
The brutal killing of over a dozen Nigerian soldiers in Okuama in the Ughelli South Local Government Area and Okolaba in the Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State stands condemned. There can never be a justification for a premeditated killing of soldiers on a legitimate assignment.
Even as we grieve the loss of these soldiers, who are not only Nigerians but have families and dependants, I urge restraints by the military authorities in its response. I would recommend that the culprits be arrested and prosecuted. -AA
I commiserate with the affected families and the people and government of Sokoto State, over the senseless and needless arson attack on unsuspecting victims travelling along the Gidan Bawa-Sokoto axis of the state, on Wednesday the 7th of December 2021.
