The Maharashtra citizens who were stranded in the flood-affected areas of Nepal have safely returned to India and are now on their way back to Maharashtra.
During a video call with CM Devendra Fadnavis, they expressed their gratitude to the Government of Maharashtra and the CM's Office for their swift response and prompt intervention in ensuring their safe return to India.
Speaking to the citizens, CM Devendra Fadnavis acknowledged that their timely rescue and return to India were made possible through the efforts of PM Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, who ensured that immediate assistance reached them.

🔸Samta Nagar Police bust milk adulteration racket; accused arrested red-handed!

The Detection Squad of @SamtaNagarPS raided a residence in Kandivali East and caught a 48-year-old man red-handed while adulterating branded milk with impure water for sale.

During the raid, 74 litres of adulterated milk bearing Amul and Gokul labels, along with adulteration material and counterfeit empty pouches, were seized.

A case has been registered under the BNS and the Food Safety and Standards Act, and the accused has been arrested.

Mumbai Police remains committed to protecting citizens from those who endanger public health.

आरोपीविरोधात भारतीय न्याय संहिता (BNS) आणि अन्न सुरक्षा कायदा मानके कायद्यांतर्गत गुन्हा दाखल करून त्याला अटक करण्यात आली आहे.

नागरिकांच्या आरोग्याशी खेळ करणाऱ्यांवर कठोर कारवाई करण्यासाठी मुंबई पोलीस कटिबद्ध आहेत!

Grateful to Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji and Hon Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji for your decision that will significantly improve the daily commute of millions of Mumbaikars.

With 238 new AC local trains being manufactured at ICF, RCF and MCF, the Mumbai Local will get a major boost. The first train is set to hit the tracks in 2027, bringing greater comfort to travellers.

The Maharashtra Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended the food-business licences of four Domino’s Pizza outlets operated by Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. following inspections that found multiple food-safety and hygiene violations.

The affected outlets are in Vile Parle West, Borivali West and R-City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai, and Malakapour, Karad, Satara. Reported deficiencies included inadequate hygiene and sanitation, pest-control issues, improper food storage and temperature monitoring, lack of segregation between raw and ready-to-eat foods, and incomplete food-safety records.

The action was taken under the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulations, 2011.
