Generating code is easy compared to making AI-generated code recover properly.

A repair loop without guardrails can quietly waste tokens, hide repeated failures, or forget history.

Claude stopped helping me code and started giving founder feedback.

It called my workflow:

Building AI coding agents looked simple from the outside.

It is not.

I first thought the hard part was getting an LLM to generate code and stitch everything together.

But I’m learning the real problem is different:

What happens when the generated app fails?

A simple AI demo can generate code.

But a real AI coding platform has to recover when the code fails.

Real software is not built in one perfect pass.

It is built through feedback, correction, ownership, and retries.
