@GlassockJ@JonathanNefro@rafavaldeznefro@GlassockJ do you think Atherosclerotic CKD or vascular disease CKD would be better nomenclature for that phenotype CKD which everyone seem to say Hypertensive nephrosclerosis?
@DrDiGiorgio FYI- 12 point ROS or comprehensive physical exam are no longer the requirements. That changed few yrs already. Current billing is mostly based on assessment and planning or time spent which are fair.
@katiewiskar Thats exactly the algorithm most nephrologists follow but I was never taught in medical school or residency. Thanks for creating the flowsheet. If all internist only followed this rather than volume based they wouldn’t need much of us.
@AshleyGWinter As a nephrologist I have done this for recurrent uti. But I wasn’t aware of isolated microscopic hematuria. Do you do estrogen cream for isolated microscopic hematuria if related to vaginal dryness? Why treat isolated microscopic hematuria if they don’t have UTI?
@MiriamGodwin4 in Oregon where I practice, it is dire. Its mostly staffing shortage and treatments are cut short to 2 hrs in several places and several Fresenius clinics closing. It will only get worse..
