@cincyred5 National bed quota was removed in 2017 but local quotas remain written into detention contracts as guaranteed minimums at private detention centers. No quotas are acceptable.

GOP and private prison corps want mandatory civil immigration detention bed quota. Jails don’t have quota to fill criminal beds. This is about $$ not security or due process.
