Irishwoman @SaraCurranFH and partner Peter Sussman have opened a boutique hotel on the ‘super-cute’ Isle of Wight... the story of @Foresters_Hall is in today's @IndoWeekend https://t.co/9wOyhtd42q
@satyanadella - help! We have spent an hour @Microsoft online store trying to pay for a Surface 5 laptop to replace an @Apple iPad for one of our team. After spending 20 mins trying to resolve with your customer service team we had to abandon our cart as we had a 7pm meeting. 🤷🏻♀️
“Had dinner last night and
just wanted to say how much we
enjoyed it. Food was fantastic!!!
and the service spot on. The
restaurant decor is brilliant - love
the blues, tables with drawers,
curtains and wall art - best on the
island. Look forward to coming again”

Michael Caines is closing one of his restaurants over the winter after rising costs made it impossible to stay open. How many other hospitality businesses will have to do the same? https://t.co/8CBLidnvXj

@AndyLynes Good morning Andy, we re-opened in early May with @RThompsonIOW as our chef patron and 14 beautiful rooms. Just a couple of minutes walk from the Red Jet fast catamaran, Cowes is the perfect place for an Autumn break. Currently offering a dine & stay packages from £200 pp. 🍽🍷
To paraphrase @JancisRobinson I find it difficult to imagine serving canned wine to our guests @Foresters__Hall or at home but certainly can see the case for bringing them out of a chilled bag at a lovely picnic on Cowes Esplanade https://t.co/uQB8THDBgZ
Thank you @onthewight for this lovely shout out about our rebrand. We are getting lots of calls from long-standing guests of @RThompsonIOW looking forward to coming to @Foresters__Hall
Our building @NorthHouseIOW includes Foresters Hall which was initially constructed in 1865 as the meeting place for the Ancient Order of Foresters. A place for hospitality, music and entertainment and working to “assist others as they walked through the forests of life” 🌳 🌳
We’ve been getting some advice on the appropriate uniform for our staff and ourselves this week as we plan a rebrand of the hotel and taking inspiration from Queen Elizabeth II who perfectly understood the importance of clothes and of colour.

"I talked through what I’d included - the Queen took great interest and I later heard the Palace had gone onto order more of some of the items which was fantastic. I did chuckle when the Prince joked about how the chopper would stink of garlic on their way home!" @RThompsonIOW
