📢 🚨Do any of you guys have Leopard Geckos, or experience with them? I need help guys 😩

I have a 3 year old female leo named Nova that I took to see an exotic vet (the only one in my area) a year ago for making clicking noises. She was prescribed .03 ml of enrofloxacin for 2 weeks and made what looked like a full recovery.

About 3 weeks ago she stopped taking food and only stayed on the cold side of her hide. I thought she was in brumation, but after about 2 weeks of doing this (and since she’s been sick before), I made an appointment with the same vet to be on the safe side.

At the visit the doctor noticed she had a clogged nostril and diagnosed her with a respiratory infection again and prescribed .03 ml of enrofloxacin for 2 weeks, same as last time. She’s been taking it for 9 days (along with reptaboost) and shown no improvement.

I called the vets office a couple days ago and took her back up to try injections instead but the vet told me she could drop her tail and she said since there’s no difference between oral and injection enrofloxacin there was no reason to risk it.

She’s still showing no improvement, making coughing motions, clicking and opened her mouth for air a few times when I was giving her meds today. I’ve increased her night time temps to 80 F and day time temps to the high 90’s Humidity is 30-40. I also gave her a warm soak and tried unclogging her nostrils earlier with minimal success.

I plan on calling the vets office in the morning to discuss what to do next, but figured I would try making a post on here, as I’m desperate for advice on what to do to help her. Apologies for the long winded post.

This is the annual "Ride 'n Slide" at Adams Place in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where a giant tarp is stretched across the lawn and the Murfreesboro Fire Department keeps it soaked and lifts residents safely on and off.

The Middle Tennessee State football team spent their day pulling grandmas across the water on inner tubes and cheering them on every single ride.

One resident, Mike Mitchell, an Army veteran and a retired minister who preached for SIXTY YEARS, talked himself into it right there on the lawn.

One grandma went down FOUR times and came up smiling saying, "Well that was fast!"

Organizers say the residents with dementia and Parkinson's light up brightest of all.

When the rent is too damn high it’s easy to hate the landlord making money off you. But when you’re a renter…you never have to make a repair, you never have to sock away $100K in cash for a down payment, and if your place burns down, you can just walk away.

Before you bitch about landlords, ask yourself: could you save up $100K right now to make a down payment? What about $10K repair when a pipe bursts? Or your government leaves 50 years of brush to BURN YOUR CITY DOWN? These are all things a property owner has to deal with. Risk, liability, maintenance, taxes, loss of liquidity, ever-increasing insurance costs, and no ability to evict someone who stops paying rent. Landlords earn maybe 5-12% margins off your rent. Consider it a tip for doing all the hard stuff of home ownership for you.
