Manufacturing day at the Middle School. Thank you to our community businesses for bringing what they do to our school to show our CTE students. This was a great day!!! @SaraSteckel#kernelsedu

4.3 It is ok to not be balanced all the time. We need to adjust each day depending on what the day brings. We also need to take time and do things that nourish our soul. Pick self care habits that make you feel happier, more rested or more productive. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
4.2 It is ok to take time for ourselves and relax. We don’t need to be busy all the time. There is no correlation between the number of hours we work and how effective it is. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
4.1 Don’t be afraid to ask for help. We can’t do everything all the time. Our students need us to be our best and not always have the best lessons. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
3.3 Don’t reinvent the wheel. We don’t need to spend hours trying to make the best projects/activities for our students. Do what works best for them. It is alright if things don’t go as planned. Readjust if need be. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
3.2 When we think of something that needs to be done, we need to write it down right away. Prioritizing your to do list is important so we don’t waste time. Take time for yourself to re-energize. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
3.1 We have different seasons in our life and need to focus on whatever that season has for us. We can’t do everything at once, so we need to take our time to achieve things. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
2.3 It is ok to quit things that are not good for us. We need to set boundaries and stick to them. We need to do things that work for us and not everyone else. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
2.2 We need to be true and real with ourselves and be confident doing it. Students need us to be ourselves. We also need to stop and reflect on our teaching and realize the impact we are making instead of always looking at the negatives. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
2.1 Don’t get pressured into doing something you don’t want to do because everyone else is doing it. Find a good support system and work together to find other solutions. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
We are making plans for our @KernelStrength summer workouts, scheduled to begin Mon, June 1st. There are separate sign ups for Middle School and High School students based on the 2020-21 school year. Those are available at https://t.co/h1iEL2M9Jz. #KernelPride#KernelStrong
@amanda12087 I have learned the same thing. It is been a life saver and I don’t have to bring my work home anymore and can focus on my family at night.
1.2 Don’t compare yourself to others and take on more responsibilities to make it look like you work harder. It isn’t about how much we do or how much time, but about how efficient we are with our time. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
1.3 We have time for more than just work. Most of the things we do are by choice and not that we have too. We shouldn’t complain about a task if we choose to do it. Always trust your best judgement. #MitchellFewerThingsBetter
