@MSH446 @BMA_JuniorDocs I get it, but surely what causes most disruption is when we have 2 cancel routine work...clinics/theatres etc. Like the last one. In times like half term a lot of that has already been cancelled. I just think the timing gives mixed msgs. Regardless I will b there! Best of luck!!
@BMA_JuniorDocs @SteveBarclay please read this thread... the government's actions or lack off will dismantle our amazing NHS... stressed medics of ALL levels. Listen to them... if you don't there will be no one left to provide care to our patients.
@MartinWhyte @BMA_JuniorDocs Of course we will cancel leave to help. There wouldn't be safe cover if we didn't. We would do it for support of junior docs & for patient safety. My point was only that the time frame makes it so much harder for those that will be covering in an attempt to support the strikers.
@MedleyMelanin@Northernlurker1 @BMA_JuniorDocs True..but doubt the government will b helping out on shop floor! Consultants need time to arrange cancellation of leave/arrange childcare &make sure they can run a safe department. We did it last time &will do it again. Like I said in the OP we do support. But notice appreciated.
@PeterRo10887922 @OlasSchool I would like to point out that I was not present when this blatant act of child forced labour occurred.....#husbandgetyourselfalawyer ;-) x
