Version 0.2 of Tomb4Plus is out. This release features native 64-bit support and a new renderer based on OpenGL via BGFX. It also boasts a variety of new features, bug fixes, and compatibility improvements across the board.

If you ever wanted evidence that IP laws in their current form have become disconnected from the interests of real people, check out the 'completely organic' trending #WorldIPDay hashtag. It's 99% self-congratulatory corpo and government shill posts. No organic discussion at all.
@bkaradzic Thanks! I sent you a PR. I've been wanting an excuse to play around with your bgfx library for a while and this project was a perfectly scoped fit for it. Its a pretty naive ad-hoc implementation at the moment, but I hope future releases will make smarter use of it.
@teddybearVR Yeah! Though more specifically focused on providing compatibility with the level editor's engine build and all the custom content which has been built for it over the years. There's over 3000+ custom levels which been built for it over two decades.
@speedynoelle You should *really* play Moon...its probably more like the idealized peak fiction people imagine/wish Shizuku was when they see the screenshots or hear the music.
With #TombRaiderRemastered dropping today, I decided to release an alpha build of my open source reimplementation of the Tomb Raider Level Editor runtime based on Troye's Last Revelation reimplementation. Enjoy! https://t.co/ziNpBhEC2f
@vr_hai It's sad to see people discovering this bogus license and realizing that they were deliberately mislead. 'Open source' isn't a colloquialism, it's a very specific intentionally developed term granting very specific rights and legal requirements. https://t.co/VoQ3R4vqPe
@OrenjiZone It'll depend on the individual assets, but from what I understand, unless there's an additional explicit 'only for use in the Unity engine' clause, most Unity store stuff should be fine.
Hey, you know, you can import Unity packages into Godot using the importer we made for our software stack...it'll even convert scenes and assets for you! Isn't that convenient? Dunno why I felt like mentioning that.

@speedynoelle I actually meant that the Japanese version seems to have stuff that wasn't in the North American version. I'm specifically thinking of what I saw in this video with the blood and the ghost women. Real creepypasta energy. https://t.co/h2BPy6le1C
@speedynoelle I'm curious, but did you check out the Japanese version of this? From what I understand, it has some content cut from the North American version which seems to go WAY more off the rails.
@UnknownSquids@VRUnderground @JustNNovel Only services in decline have rules about stuff like this. YouTube happily allows their biggest channels to advertise their own networks. Do you think what is happening on Twitter with Mastodon link-blocking is normal and precedented too?
I guess now is a good time to remind people that we've been on the receiving end of this too. Someone from #VRChat Inc. censored a presentation of our own open source social VR project because they felt threatened by it.
@UnknownSquids@VRUnderground @JustNNovel Secondly getting bogged down in discussions about TOS is pointless. There's a clause which is broad enough to ban ANY type of self-promotion in worlds, but the normal rules explicitly don't apply to VKet.
