I would have switched trains but the conductor told us we were going express on the A line. They did not let passengers know that we were changing to the D line.
@NYCTSubway what is happening on the A train? The train I’m currently on was leaving 14th street (after going local after Canal) and the conductor told us the next stop was 59th street. Then suddenly we made all the D stops. We’ve been sitting at every station.
@AskLyft I can’t get my App to leave this screen (it’s been 8 hours). I keep trying to go back, close out the app, I’ve even shut down my phone. I can’t request a new ride.
@blairsocci Put baking soda on it and rub it it and let it sit for an hour or so. Then use Dawn dish soap (important! Dawn really is better) and hot water and a brush or clean towel to rub the spot and rinse with almost boiling water. Repeat if necessary.
@DanaSchwartzzz We saw In the Next Room: got to the lovely climax of the show where Michael Ceveris disrobes completely in a show of vulnerability… and a man vocally Guffawed loud enough for the whole audience and the cast to hear. I guess some folks just can’t handle the full frontal peen.
@DanaSchwartzzz I got to go see a friend play a big roll in Cats on Broadway. The gent behind us (who after several indicators had maybe never made it to a live show before) leaned over to their guest and asked in a loud voice… “are they a rat??”
@NYGovCuomo with weddings and testing: who is in charge of tracking and enforcement of this? As a vendor, how am I to know if this is really being done? I often work multiple weddings in 7 days—it won’t be safe for vendors (and for the guests we serve) if we can’t be vaccinated.
@NYGovCuomo If you are opening indoor dining at all, you should be allowing restaurant employees to be vaccinated. It is irresponsible to put these workers in harms way so that people can recreationally go out to eat.
Today has shown police don’t need de-escalation training, they choose who to escalate on, that’s not a training issue. Police don’t need unconscious bias training, they are conscious of their bias.
With new votes joining the tally, we are on a strong path. But even while we wait for more, let’s celebrate the extraordinary organizers, volunteers, canvassers & tireless groups that haven’t stopped going since Nov. Across our state, we roared. A few miles to go...but well done!
@MamieParris@NFLonCBS Exactly. So condescending to say otherwise—they are playing for a business that is worth so much. And they are the ones putting themselves at risk. Ask for that $$$
@rachelholliday I have clients that are supposed to get married there next year. I know this is lower priority than the many people who just lost their jobs, but did you receive any info about what’s happening with the event clients they had on the books? Thanks for the report.
