!!! ATTENTION HOG FANS TRAVELING TO THE COLLEGE WORLD SERIES !!! This Friday, the day after our Hogs beat Nebraska, 🙂 our amazing friend @sportsiren is hosting a fundraiser that is honoring and supporting two Arkansas high school softball players battling cancer and Holly paid for both girls and their families to be on hand for this luncheon and to watch the Razorbacks play. PLEASE SUPPORT THIS EVENT IF YOU ARE IN Oklahoma City. Plus you get to hear from some of the legends of college softball.
Below is PRESLEY CLARDY, she plays for Glen Rose and is currently fighting Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She had a stand out freshman season and was planning and working towards a big year. Also below is KENSLEY ALLEN and she plays for UA Rich Mountain Bucks. Holly picked Kensley to be the Alex Wilcox Memorial Scholarship player this year. Kensley also has Hodgkin lymphoma. She is currently playing and having an amazing season.
This one-of-a-kind fundraising event will take place at Chicken N’ Pickle from 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM (VIP access will begin at 10:30 AM). It will feature a delicious brunch, open pickleball play, a silent auction, raffle prizes, and a live Q&A beginning at 11:15 AM with ESPN softball legends: Holly Rowe, Beth Mowins, Michele Smith, and Jessica Mendoza! @KSPrior Same - almost entire undergrad degrees’ folders are in a box. I went into teaching and believed I’d actually refer back to notes and old exams for my lessons. 🙄
@ArtHains@1021_thewon@NCAA I remember. But I also remember the Cardinals being more than willing to rearrange their start times to accommodate. The NCAA still said “no”
@mellie1210@maddenifico She talks repeatedly about his mentorship, process over outcome, that kind of thing. Though I’m not sure her X’s & O’s mirror his game plans, she definitely credits him for how she approaches the craft of leading and creating a cohesive team. She also credits her parents. Class.
@SultanOf_Stat@KaneMarker Regional? Yes & have. Super-Regional when we’re the higher seed. Nah.
Reason? NCAA claims it’s because the baby Cards have a home game scheduled. Baby Cards said they’d change their start times to accommodate.
NCAA doesn’t want the MSU’s of the world upstaging the blue bloods.
