@gibbins_kim Technically, ‘across’ is an adverb here as it isn’t followed by a noun or noun phrase). ‘Over’ is a preposition because it is followed by a noun phrase. So in-depth!
Now that we can talk about the 2026 SATs papers, here are my thoughts on the maths papers. In general, I thought that there were a lot of good, fair questions. Lots of ratio and shape!
If you work in a 2-form (or more) entry school, how do your classes work?
Do the classes change or stay the same? Don’t class teachers make the new lists? Do they know who the new class teachers or not? Do you ask for children input or not?
Question for teachers who work in schools that do Talk 4 Writing:
Are you able to memorise each text? Is it a non-negotiable that you know it by heart?
What about staff who only work part time and so are not reciting the text as often?
I’m curious to know how you find it.
How gorgeous is this writing about Endermen that my 5yo has been doing this week?
We’ve sat together most evenings to do a sentence and I now know much more about Endermen than I did before!
Congratulations to the winners! Send me a DM with your email and I'll get it sent over in the next few days.
