We are having a conference call tomorrow with our PD and Chief residents to try to make some solid plans for such issues.

@AmaliaCochranMD @Surg_Education @APDSurgery Geisinger surgery residency (in central PA) is cancelling all M&M, journal clubs, educational conferences etc. several confirmed cases in our area and we are the large tertiary referral hospital for a very wide catchment area so taking “defensive” precautions.

@arghavan_salles I had a surprise day at home due to the selflessness of my fellow residents. Our patient census was lower than usual so my fellow chief made the call to let some of us stay home. I went to brunch with my family and played with my daughter - this meant more to me than anything!
