Co-founder VisibilityCo | Leader @HomewardBound16 | #Visibility + social impact strategist for leaders, movements, orgs with big ideas that elevate the world 🌏
What a way to end the year! Today we welcome the new #TeamHB6 - the 6th cohort of 100 *incredible* #womeninSTEMM joining
@HomewardBound16. Purposeful, breathtakingly clever people doing things our world truly needs, joining more than 500 peers globally. Welcome to the community!
Life course not age bracket. “women’s economic participation across her lifetime being less visible, valued, self-determined, secure & safe = lower savings & job security, lower super balances, lower wealth creation, lower advancement” #Budget2023 https://t.co/EyPiWF85Sc
Love this from Aparna - synchs up with how we invite people to think differently about #visibility. That sometimes the most powerful form of visibility is having the ability to discern when it’s time for your voice or time to share the platform for the best collective outcome. 💯
"Leadership is not always about being the loudest or 1st in the room to talk. Sometimes it is about standing back & creating a space for others.”
A/Prof Aparna Lal @A__Lal from HB's #TeamHB4 & @ourANU on why #gender equality is key in #climate action.

So excited to announce that almost 180 women from 25 countries will be voyaging to #Antarctica with #HomewardBound in November. The journey will help these amazing women in STEMM reflect on the world we live in and the actions needed for a more sustainable future.

Is it possible to fall in love in a day? That's what happened to me last week. I answered a mysterious call to attend a gathering of special ones, and had my heart stolen. What started as a normal post quickly overflowed into an open love letter #thisnowus https://t.co/i9DluAZ237
Loving working with the crew at @changebydegrees in Ireland on their #visibilitystrategy, enabling such a dynamic team with a visionary purpose to have their full impact in the world: helping organisations lead not follow on #sustainability 🙌🏽
@shine_tara @SandycoveIsland
Wise words for all of us. 🙌🏽
I’ve been deeply moved and educated by the well-being and burnout teachings and personal storytelling from Dr Vik Mohan as part of our collaboration for the @IUCN_ASAP Visible Leadership program. Such critical topics for social impact leaders.
Throughout our ASAP WiCLP Visible Leadership programme, Dr Vik Mohan, Director of Community Health at Blue Ventures Conservation, will be guiding our women leaders through a series of sessions on well-being and self-care.
A little late to the party, but SO stoked to share that I've been selected alongside 109 incredible women to join #TeamHB7 with @HomewardBound16! This 12-month leadership initiative for women with a background in STEMM aims to create better outcomes for our planet. (1/2)
Such a privilege to guide conservation leaders in Asia through an exploration of #visibility and its role in #leadership for the the @IUCN_ASAP Women in Leadership program. We introduced our Three Pillars of Visibility to help give permission to do visibility your own way.
Learning about what visibility means this morning.
It is about knowing our values, purpose and vision. It is about being known and seen by others. And it is about using our visible leadership for a greater purpose.
Great stuff @IUCN_ASAP@juliacmaybe@SarahIsSocial 💪🏻

“As soon as men also needed to work flexibly, to stay safe from a potentially deadly virus, things were figured out overnight. Turns out it wasn’t quite as tough as we’d previously been told.” – @JamilaRizvi https://t.co/oqbsrK1f9A

Happy #WorldPoetryDay! I’m honouring David Whyte who’s taught me so much. Do yourself a favour: listen to him read one of his own poems (try “Start Close In”), as a celebration of how our carefully chosen words can be a beacon for others. @whytedw https://t.co/U2cmVi1HKz
