For liveable streets I'd suggest a supermarket being high on agenda...most people here drive to Tesco (A12) or Iceland in Roman or get it delivered. Would mean less vehicle pollution & more excersice as close-by for frequent use 🤹🏼‍♀️🛍🛍

@suntcognatimihi @awjre @TowerHamletsNow Some of the reasons It was suspended was due to resident feedback that it was causing more traffic delays = more pollution, more traffic on roads vehicles diverted to = more pollution & dangerous crossing between cars by pedestrians and young children = dirtier air than before.

Policing is the solution but we dont have enough to make an impact 😥

@cvfdavies @christinebrowne @Nepomucene @MayorJohnBiggs The 'zooming' happens at night....not on #ratrun hours...the problem is anti social behaviour/ noise nuisance NOT people trying to do school runs and somehow magically get to work on time everyday...I've never managed to get down that road at more than 10mph on my #RatRun 🙄

I'm #Propeople but I still need to do 2 school runs with SEND children and get to work ⏰. I either drive or quit FT job 👩🏼‍🏫...🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

@rosamund_ElsFdn Agreed, however these plans only caused more pollution by making vehicles sit in traffic and take longer routes to get from same A to B. Understanding why people drive will bring cleaner air....forcing them will bring no change... #SchoolBusesNeeded
