For some reason, I didn't think Frankenstein would have so much depth, love it. #ENG2GOT

@Juliana__Hart it's easy to read but the story line is a bit of a drag. It seems to lack the emotion and depth that the monk had.

[Sarah King @SarahKing1855]

@correnereyes23 glad I'm not the only one who keeps thinking about Romeo and Juliet while reading so far!

[Sarah King @SarahKing1855]

I'm finding that I enjoyed The Monk a lot more than The Italian. #ENG2GOT

@TravisAndrews95 I think somewhere in the book it says that he's around the age of 30.

[Sarah King @SarahKing1855]

@Juliana__Hart the monk definitely kept me on my toes the entire time I was reading it.

[Sarah King @SarahKing1855]

@ClaireBlainey Raymond's story line was really interesting. The monks was intense.

[Sarah King @SarahKing1855]

@teagan_lowndes this book is way not what I was expecting. It's so intense.

[Sarah King @SarahKing1855]

@caitlinjane_p so far I love how mysterious things seem to be in gothic.

[Sarah King @SarahKing1855]

@JenniferCrookLT I'm quite surprised at it. Was not expecting something so scandalous. Especially for the period in which it was written.

[Sarah King @SarahKing1855]

Was not expecting The Monk to be so scandalous. Two thumbs up. #ENG2GOT

Can Ambrosio being stung by the Cientipedoro be compared to the story of Adam and Eve and the downfall they faced? Foreshadowing? #ENG2GOT
