This week we’re looking at a paper that examined the relationship between language ability and social, emotional and behavioural difficulties in children with and without DLD. The authors of this paper were @ShaunKYGoh , @SarahLGriff , @lilacCourt and the SCALES Team.

This suggests that children with more severe language disorder are unlikely to be able to participate in common talking therapies for mental health. It also suggests a need to develop and practice language that can be used for emotion regulation.
