So yeah. As the Senate astutely points out, we haven't yet found COVID's fraternal twin in bats. But we've found dozens of COVID's cousins in bats. Most likely because "southeast asia" is a heckin huge area and we haven't sampled enough bats yet. 🤷‍♀️
