For some late-Summer cheap thrills, I've recently joined a gaming campaign run in the Legends of Nor'Ova universe (similar to D&D). I've chosen to create a Xodian Necromancer character who will be sojourning as an adventurer with a small group of fellow adventurers. Her name is Sariel (sounds like Daniel) Bonecaster. Death can be such a drag, so she's on vacation, looking for a change of scenery, getting away from the grind. The team she's running with includes a Yeti monk (tank), a young warrior who looks like a Greenman, a one-armed fire mage, and a healer-caster. Right out of the gate, our group was attacked by bandits in the starting town, then we headed out on the road and were shortly hired as mercenaries by a farmer seeking to manage a growing infestation of Imps. Good times!

We'll see how this goes. Stay tuned!

Just started in a campaign with 4 ppl in a D&D-like game called Norova, which is set in a deeply magical post-apocalyptic world. My character, Sariel, is an ageless Xodian necromancer sojourning as an adventurer. She's on vacation and is ready for a fight. Sariel is lightly armored and has a small chakram--thrown weapon ("I'm going to kill you with my teacup."--Ridick), and she used it immediately on our first day! A group of would-be road bandits mistakenly decided to bump into our group just outside of the starter town. They were looking for a few mugging opportunities. Foolishly, they attacked our newly formed band of adventurers. Silly NPCs! Fortified with a healthy dose of mercenary spirit, Sariel initiated direct hits on two of the fools and pursued my favorite action, LTB for that sweet, sweet gold! With coin in hand, the band is well-stocked and prepared to ride out gloriously (or walk) into the dark forest ahead for days/nights of high adventure and hijinks!s Woo hoo!
