I just want to say that today I failed the #FinalFRCA written exam. By less than 1% but nonetheless a fail. To all of those who also didn’t pass this time and are feeling a little sad seeing all those who did - don’t give up. When we eventually pass it will be all the sweeter.

I know it’s unusual for us medics to show pride in our work but I’m going to give myself a big pat on the back for today. 6 epidurals done giving 4 new mums a relatively pain free birth experience (2 ongoing). Smiles all round ☺️

@trufflepotamus I had this after major surgery and injected into my thigh which bloody killed! It wasn’t until 3 doses in I realised that I wasn’t meant to inject into muscle! Fat tummies definitely the way to go (only time I was happy to have!)

I’m an anaesthetics trainee in the #NHS and,if distance allows, I will always choose to cycle after a night shift. Much safer and helps me to sleep. Not so much for the 52 mile rotations however!
