I wish I could tell you everyone will love the strong & independent "you" you're creating in trauma recovery, but they won't. Some people will feel threatened by it. Some people won't know what to do w/ it. Some people strongly preferred you unstable & needy.

@minidisc0 I am willing him on to explore his creative fashion choices with a sense of freedom whilst also knowing and maintaining his boundaries. I’m still learning that myself. I hope he has the best people around him so that his fashion endeavours remain fun, adventurous and inspiring.

@minidisc0 He’s 21. Plenty of time to grow into that with experience. Learning to say no to people who present as experts in their field and who are directing us in ways that benefit themselves rather than really listening to what we think/feel/need is challenging for the best of us.
