This is not acceptable. Mailonline reports women are no longer venturing out or coming to Braintree, Essex, on Thursdays as it’s the day hundreds of young male migrants are bussed into the town from Wethersfield asylum accommodation 12 miles away.
The men, almost exclusively African and Middle Eastern, hang around the bus depot whistling at the schoolgirls as they step out from the buses.
Locals say this kind of action has led to Braintree becoming a ghost town on the Thursdays.
I note that Burnham seems to have a strong view on almost every social subject under the sun, but remains schtum when it comes to the effect illegal migrants are having on our nation.
At best women in the area are uncomfortable at worst they have a genuine fear. This as I say is not acceptable.
Does Burnham care? If it was a Northern town he’d be all over it but because it’s the South he sees no votes in it.
He’s got a bounce in the polls to 27% right now.
With his attitude to places like Braintree I guarantee he doesn’t keep it.
