Here's an update to a previous drawing of the #stressbucket
I have added community connection to the healthy coping tap. I feel we need to move away from centering individualised approaches to distress.
The trauma trigger tap is a different take on how our buckets can overflow
Today we are proud to support & stand together with social workers around the world to mark World Social Work Day!
This year's theme - Cobuilding a New Eco-Social World Leaving No One Behind - promotes the value of social work in building a more just, secure & sustainable world.
It’s here! Happy World Social Work Day! #WSWD2022 🎉🤗❤️Connecting & celebrating social workers in UK & around the world. Our theme this year is SW building a more equal, safer, eco-social world - post-Covid & now with war in Europe #LeaveNoOneBehind#community@IFSW@BASW_UK
Welcome to World Social Work Day 2022. I’m proud to be a social worker but humbled to be given the opportunities that this career has afforded me, especially now, to be able to meet and listen to social workers doing exceptional social work in the toughest of times.
World social work day is an important day for our global profession. It provides us with a space to reflect on our what, why and how with a particular theme. I am looking forward to joining swers for 5 different presentations today. Happy world social work day 2022.

Me too. I left school with 0 qualifications and did an access course in my late 30s to enable me to go to university. I'll be 40 in 2 months and in my 1st year at university pursuing my passion. School just wasn't right for me as a teenager
I don’t have a single GCSE to my name and yet I’m averaging a first at university with the work I’ve submitted so far. It’s usually not ability that’s the problem, it’s often a lack of support which materialises into lack of self belief. Imagine I was blocked from university?
We were planning on going to the New Forest today for a long dog walk and picnic as a family, but this weather is horrendous. Duvet day, films and baking instead! #familytime#SundayFunday
I've been a bit quiet on twitter lately, but don't feel like I've had a minute to breathe! Studying full time, working as many shifts as I can around uni, plus trying to be present for my wife and daughters is a constant juggling act! #workingmum#maturestudentlife
