Not all 999/112 calls may result in an ambulance. Low acuity calls in certain and sometimes rural regions may be attended by Community Paramedics (CP) who can provide treatment on the scene which cuts down unnecessary ambulance journeys & waiting in emergency departments.
Our Community Paramedicine project is expanding. 👏 Community Paramedics operate in expanded roles providing routine healthcare services, improving the well-being of patients in the community.
