Somehow I feel this has a bearing on Partygate, while the PM partied, some civil servants were under immense stress 'Richard Morris, the former ambassador to Nepal, worked 15-hour shifts six or seven days a week for the Foreign Office.' https://t.co/uitFl5XM7t
@AndrewPRLevi That’s an awful story. That poor guy sounds like the polar opposite of Johnson and his party culture at the top: the ones who all the real work & stress fall on and who torture themselves about getting things right.
@AndrewPRLevi It makes me hugely angry to see someone so clearly diligent and caring about their profession have their life end in such a way. Especially when the vermin currently masquerading as our government barely break a sweat in either their jobs or their consciences
@AndrewPRLevi The sense of duty that he showed to the point of worrying like that is sorely lacking in the people with the highest offices in the country. What a loss for his family! How worrying that staff are not being supported at such a stressful time!
@AndrewPRLevi "Morris became troubled over public travel guidance he had written. Alison Morris said: 'He was extremely stressed and thought this might amount to misconduct in a public office.'"
Meanwhile in No. 10, Johnson was partying like it was Magaluf...
