Just remember, if you’re paying attention to the reality of Covid, aside from the added stress of being cautious, keeping an eye out for illness, avoiding certain social situations, and general adjustment of your daily life, you’re also dealing with a great deal of grief.
If you’re paying attention, you’re processing a lot of loss, because things have changed, and for many, watching this amount of illness and decline is hard to handle.
In the mess of it all, it’s easy to forget that you’re digesting a great deal of loss, anxiety, and pain, so give yourself a break, and remember you’re doing the best you can.
call me crazy if you will, but the argument ‘we invite paid panelists on to say factually incorrect things about disabled people & carers so those disabled people & carers listening as they struggle through their days can call & correct us for free’ is a poor argument for a show
If you’re living with depression &/or anxiety, chronic illness, a bunch of not good thought pathways caused by trauma/others’ not good behaviour, miserable perimenopause, a differently-wired brain, you’re worried about climate change or you’re just feeling shite today, then hi, me too. This photo’s for your brain-it’s miniature posy from my garden in a thimble:
I trained as a molecular cell biologist & have wonky mental health so am obsessed with effective ways to alter brain chemistry for the better.
My workshops start at £10 & are a 💯💯 way to support me while learning to draw AND how creative activity lifts mood:

I relaunched my online workshops last night after my breakdown but no takers yet. They used to be the majority of my income so it is scary tbh.
I've taught creative & mental health classes on BBC Countryfile, @V_and_A, the Bronte Parsonage & even Highgrove. I've been advised to go on PIP (my autism,ADHD & PMDD together are disabling & my breakdown means my income's a quarter of what it was) but I really don't want to do that.
If you'd like to learn to draw plants & how creative activity alters our brain biochemistry to improve mental health my 29th August class is here👇
A RT would really really help, thankyou🌿: https://t.co/UFgNLxO8ey
There’s a lot of tiny treasure in this new find-the-tiny-silver-owl photo. I’d *so* love to hear what your favourite v small handmade/antique/found thingy is from this image (oh & when you find the owl your brain will release dopamine, lifting mood, so maybe RT if you think your followers might need a small lift/break from scrolling) 🗝️:
I had 3-4 weeks off Twitter with autistic burnout recently & my engagement is right down (also due to standing up to a vile group of trolls on here-they reported me lots, restricting my reach). If you see this photo it would be so ace if you could RT it or drop me a quick hello if you have a moment, both of which help an account get back on track. I also hope these little violas ping some floral dopamine in your meat computer & give you a small lift 🌿
Please retweet to help Chester and Missy find a home together #STOKE#UK
AVAILABLE TO ADOPT - MUST GO TOGETHER🐶🐶
Meet Chester and Missy, Chester is 7 and a x jack russell and Missy is also a jack russell x and she is 2 years old, Chester and Missy have come in through no fault of their own whatsoever.
We have been told they are both house trained, good with children, other dogs and no for cats.
In the kennels Chester and Missy are well behaved for us and they are a lovely little duo, Missy does have a nervous nature though and she is very shy and she is wary of leads around her neck and she will need to be walked on a harness, missy can get very frightened over things she is not used to, however Chester isn't shy though and Missy will follow him around, wherever they are they are always together.
Chester and Missy are now in need of their forever homes where they can get all the attention and exercise that they need, they are both lap dogs but because Missy is more nervous we will be asking for children over 8+ if they are to be re-homed near children.
They are very loving and have always been together so they must be re-homed together and not split at all.
To arrange a meet and greet with Chester and Missy please call us on 01782 304 130 11am until 4pm
