When they invited me into their homes cooked for me, they gave me gifts like jewelry and scarves just as well as compliments. And it all started from their curiosity.

There are plenty of people sharing their stories who are actually there or have gone through it that you can inquire with. Al Jazeera mentioned it and a CNN correspondent who’s sister dealt w/it.

@CiprianNicu @Sophia1Star @BijanCNN Yeah.. no. There’s video footage of it happening on the Romanian border. Someone I follow showed one aggressive man who even lunged at her for her phone when he saw she was recording his discriminations. On the other side of the border she said it’s better.
