It’s incredible that the Lebanese government refused to use the leverage bestowed on them by Iran’s insistence on a ceasefire and Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon.

Instead they chose to collaborate with the Americans and Israelis on Israel’s terms to hand Marco Rubio a tool to undermine the U.S.-Iran agreement.

Netanyahu is bragging that this is a withdrawal from two areas he doesn’t care about and it allows Israel’s occupation to continue. The Lebanese presidency is celebrating this as a win for sovereignty that will liberate Lebanese land but he’s given no details as to how. Hezbollah rejects it because it looks like total capitulation to Israel.

This is a recipe for more Israeli aggression that could torpedo an end to the bigger U.S.-Iran war.

معلومة مكررة

الاتفاق مش جديد، ده نسخة حديثة من اتفاق 17 مايو 1983 الشهير اللي وقعه الرئيس أمين الجميل مع إسرائيل برعاية أمريكية بعد اجتياح بيروت 1982.

الاتفاق ده كان بينص على انسحاب إسرائيلي تدريجي مقابل ترتيبات أمنية في الجنوب، يعني تنسيق أمني ولإسرائيل حق الوجود والضبطية العسكرية في قرى لبنان الجنوبية، ووافق عليه مجلس النواب اللبناني وقتها.. بس ما استكملش واتلغى رسميا في مارس 1984 بعد أقل من سنة.

ليه فشل الاتفاق ده؟

لأن الشعب اللبناني رفضه رفضا قاطعا، والمكون الشيعي اللي بيمثل 30 - 40 % من شعب لبنان رفضه، وحركة أمل (اللي كانت النواة الشيعية قبل حزب الله) قادت مقاومة شعبية ضده، وسوريا ضغطت بقوة، والنتيجة: انقسام داخلي حاد أدى لاقتتال بين مؤيدين ومعارضين للاتفاق، واهتزاز حكم أمين الجميل نفسه.

إسرائيل خرجت مهزومة دبلوماسيا بعد وقت قصير من التوقيع، والاتفاق بقى حبر على ورق، لكن اتسجل صفحة سوداء في جبين اللي وقعه..

خلاصة اللي حصل: إن الحكومة اللبنانية وقعت على اتفاق بيشرعن وجود المحتل عشان تشتري وقت أو تتجنب انهيار داخلي فوري.. والنتيجة إن المحتل بيطول وجوده، والحكومة بتتحول ��شريك غير مباشر في الاحتلال، وكأنها بتقول لإسرائيل: "أقعدوا براحتكم في لبنان لحد ما الداخل ينفجر"...!

عمليا مفيش سلطة فعلية على الأرض للحكومة كي تنفذ هذا الاتفاق، وستصطدم مع المكون الشيعي في بيروت والجنوب، وهذا يعتبر أقوى اختبار لاتفاق المحاصصة عام 1989 تقريبا منذ أحداث سلاح الإشارة في 7 أيار عام 2008 في لبنان.

إسرائيل عاوزة حرب أهلية لبنانية تسندها في المعركة ضد الحزب، وللأسف حكومة لبنان تساهم وتسرع في هذه الحرب بسرعة غريبة..

بال��سبة لإيران فهي تقايض ملف لبنان بمضيق هرمز، وستبقى على نفس المعادلة التي ثبت تأثيرها، وهذا يعني إن مفيش اتفاق مع أمريكا بدون انسحاب إسرائيلي من الجنوب اللبناني..

يقعد بقى شهر شهرين، سنة سنتين، لن يحصل ترامب على أي اتفاق بدون إتمام هذا الانسحاب، وقتها ما يسمى (اتفاق الإطار) هيحصل زميله الذي وقعه الرئيس اللبناني السابق "أمين الجميل" ويجري إلغاءه بقوة الميدان وبفعل رغبة الشعب اللبناني في المقاومة وطرد المحتل..

رأيكم: هل ستنجح #ايران في فرض معادلتها وقواعد اشتباكها بربط لبنان بالأمن القومي في الخليج والمضيق؟..أم ستنجح إسرائيل في فك هذا الارتباط وتعيد سيطرتها على #لبنان مرة أخرى بمساعدة عملاء لها في الداخل؟
