Workers are fighting back everywhere, for better working conditions, for respect, for decent pay. It’s these struggles that lift up the working class. It’s the exercising of workers rights. It’s the confronting of power. 1/

Sending a ton of @UniforTheUnion solidarity to our friends with @transportworker in their fight for a fair contract.
We know what it’s like to be up against corporations like @KeolisBoston and how important global solidarity is.
We are all ITF.

To those clutching their dogmatic pearls, criticizing @cafreeland for doing her job - saying she will use the tools of government to deal with the current affordability crisis made much worse by interest rates - relax and get a grip.
Cdns actually need govt to act!

🙄 What you don’t get is corps should pay a damn living wage. Decent pay 4 decent work.
In a country as wealthy as ours this is a minimum.
Lower taxes help millionaire CEOs more than underpaid workers.
Bring paycheques up by making it easier to join a union.

The global trade union movement joined the #PeoplesPlenary at #COP27! Asking for a #JustTransition and #SocialDialogue with workers at the table. We do not accept others to decide about our very future!
People power, climate justice!
We are not yet defeated!
Loss & damage affects workers – workers’ jobs & conditions irreversibly damaged including their health, their safety & their livelihoods.
At #COP27 we need a decision on #LossAndDamageFinance. There’s no time to wait. #TradeUnionsCOP27
