I am proud to lay the foundation stone for the Barzani Grand Mosque in Erbil. The mosque will be built entirely by local expertise and workforce, and it will become the largest landmark of its kind at two million square meters.

Throughout Kurdistan’s history, mosques have served as centers of learning and leadership. We hope this mosque will also become a major center for faith, spiritual enlightenment, knowledge, and service to the homeland.

Today we visited the KDP’s 23 Branch of Makhmour. Assessed our organizational road map for further galvanizing our base and thanked them for their dedication in achieving KDP’s great electoral success. Tackling upcoming endeavors and making sure their readiness to achieve more success was another part of discussions. It was also great to engage in a Q and A with our cadres and give them nuanced answers on recent political developments.

I congratulate the Kurdish champion Badin Haso for achieving victory at the INTERNATIONAL WBC championship in Germany and winning his third belt. I sincerely commend him and wish him greater success. It is truly a source of pride and happiness that Kurdish youth continue to achieve major victories in international sports arenas and introduce the name of Kurd and Kurdistan to the world.
