Let us refuse to be diverted to other agendas before the truth is revealed, justice is served, and accountability is established.

If anyone invites you to reconciliation without truth, justice, and accountability, understand that they may simply be preparing the ground for the same abuses to be repeated.

Genuine reconciliation cannot exist where the truth is concealed, injustice is tolerated, and those responsible are shielded from accountability.

There can be no lasting peace without truth, no meaningful reconciliation without justice, and no sustainable future without accountability.

FOR OUR NATION TO HEAL, FIVE FUNDAMENTAL MEASURES ARE NECESSARY:

1. The establishment of a Truth, Justice, and Accountability Commission to investigate and address incidents of killings, enforced disappearances, and the discovery of unidentified bodies occurring before, during, and after the elections.

2. The unconditional release of all detainees and political prisoners, including the immediate release of Advocate Tundu Antipas Lissu.

3. The revival of the Constitutional Review legal framework and the adoption of a clear roadmap for the constitution-making process, commencing from the stage reached by the Constitutional Review Commission.

4. The authorization of an independent international investigation into all alleged violations of human rights and civil liberties, with a view to establishing the truth and ensuring accountability in accordance with international legal standards.

5. A Collective national commitment by all citizens to reject corruption, fear, intimidation, and complacency, and to place the interests of the nation above personal, partisan, or sectional interests.

TRUTH, JUSTICE, AND ACCOUNTABILITY ARE THE FOUNDATIONS UPON WHICH OUR NATION CAN HEAL AND RECONCILE.
