Even my grandfather who did extensive research on these topics also says the roots of Krishnadevaraya is from Tulunadu. For very long time, twitter historians tried to hide his Tulu origins by creating several propaganda. But truth cannot be suppressed.
I seriously wonder how @INCIndia nominated a person like @SinghReetam as a spokesperson. His knowledge is not only shallow but his thinking illogical. I have earned my rank and dues from service to the nation in conditions you would never have dreamt about. Dont be jealous. It is my constitutional right to share my views. Your comme are an insult to your education and upbringing. Grow up mentally.
Easy, Saurav. Perhaps start with your own identity before offering lessons to the Republic. Governments are elected at the ballot box, not on the streets. The next general election will decide who governs this country and not street violence, intimidation, or the chaos you and your minions have orchestrated. Also Saurav, if you do plan to contest in the elections, just make sure you’ve sorted out the ‘father’s name’ column by then.

India’s exemplary GDP growth of 7.8% during Q1 of FY 2026-27 is a herculean feat.
The collective strength of our people ensured India delivered such growth despite oil price shocks and supply chain issues in the midst of global uncertainties.
Doomsayers were doomed and India bloomed…yet again!
Something extraordinary actually happened today.
Stuff so extraordinary, that even if it comes as a dream, you dismiss it as something that is impossibly improbable.
Thanks to your support and blessings, today I had the ultimate honor and privilege of having a conversation with our honorable Prime Minister on Mann Ki Baat about https://t.co/CIr1xkvilD
I still can't believe that he actually spoke to me, asked me about the website, its features and some questions on general history too. I am still in a daze.
For an amateur builder like me, i don't think there is a greater recognition or validation than this.
This conversation has given me enough motivation to take BharatRajya to the next level and make it the ideal history reference and visualization website for everyone.
Thank you @narendramodi ji, for encouraging people like us and inspiring us to achieve greater heights.
These is one conversation I will not forget in this lifetime. Or maybe even the next.
And rest assured sir, I won't let you down.
Dear friend @ARanganathan72 Ji, I hope u find this post in good taste as I'm writing this in capacity of a Finance Professor & not as Modi-Bhakt.
“Modi Govt borrowed ₹154 lakh crore!”
Correct. Now let's apply some basic Financial Management before screaming “DEBT = BAD”.
A Govt doesn't borrow just to put money in a bank account.
It borrows to create assets that generate economic activity for decades.
From 2014-15 to 2026-27:
🔹 Central Capex: ₹1.81 lakh cr → ₹12.22 lakh cr — nearly 7X
🔹 National Highways: 91,287 km → ~1.46 lakh km
🔹 Airports: ~74 → 160
🔹 Railway broad-gauge electrification: 99.6%
🔹 Rural roads: 7.8 lakh km built during 2014-25
🔹 Renewable capacity: 76 GW → ~289 GW
🔹 Solar: 2.8 GW → ~165 GW — nearly 60X
Now comes the REAL financial-management question:
What is the return on that borrowed money?
RBI research estimates that ₹1 of Central Government capital expenditure can generate up to ₹3.25 of additional GDP through the fiscal multiplier—and public investment can crowd in private investment.
That's the point.
If the government had refused to borrow, it had only two choices:
1️⃣ Don't build the infrastructure.
OR
2️⃣ Raise substantially more taxes to finance it.
And taxing citizens/businesses heavily to fund infrastructure would take purchasing power out of the private economy while reducing the capital available for private investment.
Instead, the government borrowed at sovereign rates (which are way lower than commercial lending rates) and deployed a much larger share of expenditure into productive capital formation.
And here's the kicker:
Taxes weren't simply increased to pay for this borrowing.
Bharat's direct-tax-to-GDP ratio reached 6.7% in FY2024-25—the highest in three decades—while tax administration and compliance improved.
At the same time, the government has actually delivered major tax relief—including raising the income-tax threshold to ₹12 lakh in Budget 2025-26.
Not to forget, Modi Sarkar has substantially reduced Indirect Taxes too with GST reforms. I need not tell readers how CONgress led UPA Govt was squeezing consumers with high indirect taxes & that too with cascading effect. "Tax on Tax" was what consumers paying under UPA Govt run by so-called economists.
So the Modi Sarkar model is:
Borrow → Build productive assets → Increase economic capacity → Crowd-in private investment → Grow the tax base → Consolidate fiscal deficit → Give tax relief.
That's fundamentally different from UPA Govt's useless model which was:
Borrow → Spend on consumption → Borrow again to pay for yesterday's spending.
Debt is not automatically good.
Unproductive debt is dangerous.
But borrowing to create infrastructure whose economic return exceeds the cost of borrowing?
That's not “destroying the economy”.
That's using the balance sheet to build the economy.
The question isn't:
“How much did Modi borrow?”
The question is:
“What did India get in return?”
And on that question, the numbers are VERY uncomfortable for the critics.
I hope Anand ji that I'm able to remove all your concerns & worries over Govt Debt.
I rest my case.
Monday morning white pill for you.
India is officially the only country on Earth running high-rise double-stacked freight trains under 100% live electric wires.
🇺🇸 double-stacks with diesel.
🇪🇺 can't double-stack at all.
🇮🇳 engineered high-rise electric wires to do both.
Have written to Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri @DKShivakumar regarding the Railway Board’s decision to bring Mangaluru under the Mysuru Division of South Western Railway from October 1, 2026.
With the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Keralam seeking reconsideration of the notified decision, I have urged the Hon’ble CM of Karnataka to convey our State’s support for its implementation.
This is not about taking a position against a neighbouring State. It is about placing Karnataka’s considered position on the railway administration and developmental requirements of Mangaluru formally before the Union Government.
I believe the people of Karnataka can reasonably expect our State Government to stand behind this long-pending demand and support its implementation.
The integration of the Mangaluru railway network, previously under Kerala’s Palakkad Division, into the Mysuru Division of South Western Railway is a truly historic decision.
This fulfils the long-standing 23-year demand of the people of Karnataka, particularly the people of Mangaluru and coastal Karnataka.
Heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji and Hon’ble Union Minister for Railways Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji for their support and commitment in making this landmark decision a reality.
