My point isn't that Andrew Huberman isn't a tool, It's that you don't need to be especially mentally ill for this combo to be a rough time for you. MDMA makes me *very* self conscious and anxious around others

@reluctantmutant @jakebrodes I mean maybe, but while I love mushrooms and LSD, MDMA for me just doesn't work the way it does for others. I really wish it did. I've hippy flipped and it was a miserable time for me. MDMA & MDA both feel awful to me. Mushrooms & LSD on their own though are great.

@jakebrodes I pretty much totally agree on the point you're making but I'll add that MDMA just straight up doesn't feel good for me, so at least when I hippy flipped, I was miserable, stressed out of my mind & wanted the trip to end, so it genuinely can be a rough experience for some ppl.

If the misinformation gets to enough people who think they're actually seeing "the truth" about a conspiracy, it makes it harder for the political will to limit co2 to exist, especially in the US.

They're intentionally misinforming people who are then so thoroughly misinformed by these sources who then spread that misinformation to politically like-minded people.

All you can provide is a statement from a paper that hasn't been peer reviewed and that was put out on a site from a foundation that literally was founded thanks to fossil fuel industry money.

But it's never too late to think scientifically or begin reading sources on climate that aren't smothered to death in oil-executive money.

I could stack up binders full of it but if you're not willing to look at it, you can keep pretending it doesn't exist or you can pretend it's some conspiracy like a lot of other people do. @SchneidGabriel @quasirob @NoahKarl1 I'm not going to waste my time playing a semantic game with you. If heating remains constant (the sun) & greenhouse gases slow cooling down (you just admitted they do), the amount of heat in that system (the earth) goes up.

@SchneidGabriel @quasirob @NoahKarl1 If you slow down the rate at which heat leaves a system while keeping the heat entering the system constant, temperatures will rise. Greenhouse gases insulate the lower levels of the atmosphere by absorbing thermal radiation that's trying to escape into space, preventing cooling.
