EXPLANATION: Kamala Harris claiming she’s the most qualified ever to run for president is laughable. This is a politician who dropped out of the 2020 primary before a single vote was cast because even her own party didn’t buy what she was selling. She got trounced by Trump in 2024, losing both the Electoral College (312–226) and the popular vote (48.3% to 49.8%). It’s like the substitute teacher declaring herself more qualified than the principal because she once held the chalk. Lincoln had the Civil War. Kamala can’t handle a press conference.

@GavinNewsom was on Colbert last night and used the word “authoritarian” three times to describe ICE. He said some people say that’s hyperbolic, and he said “bulls***, it’s not hyperbolic.”

He also said, “I fear that we will not have an election in 2028. I really mean that at the core of my soul.” He then clarified that if we do have an election, it will be a “Putin-type election.”

A crazy person hearing that might think, “Someone’s got to do something about this! If we have an authoritarian like Putin who already has power, and there won’t be another election, there’s only one way to save the country …”

And this morning just such a crazy person shot up an ICE facility in Dallas.

Just last week, the DHS issued this statement PLEADING for an end to the demonization of ICE. They pulled together recent examples of elected officials calling them slave patrols, Nazi Germany, neo-Nazis, deranged, secret police, SS, KGB officers, bank robbers, Gestapo, vigilantes, kidnappers, and thugs.

A crazy person hears that and might think, “Gestapo, KGB, Nazis, secret police … in the U.S.?!? I’d be a HERO if I took them out.”

CALLING PEOPLE “FASCIST” IN THIS COUNTRY IS CALLING FOR VIOLENCE

Here’s why — to 99% of Americans:

Fascist = Nazi = Hitler = Mass Murderer

If a crazy person hears that we are in “Germany in 1939,” they may rightly think:

“Well, if I had killed Hitler in 1939, I would be a hero today. Maybe I would have been executed then, but today there would be history books about me, statutes in my honor, documentaries about my life, major Hollywood films portraying me, etc. So … maybe I should be that hero today …”

And sadly, as we have seen, when they do commit violence, they WILL be hailed as a hero by the Radical Left.

@jefflharrison When you call people Nazis in the U.S., you invite violence. Also, when you publicly wish violence upon the POTUS, you invite violence. You managed to complete a whole career as a law professor without learning these basic principles. It’s a shame you don’t have a job to lose, but at least you’ve lost your title. And you’ve gained a legacy of disgrace that for the rest of your life will overshadow any accomplishment you had during your career. Congratulations!

@BarackObama is creating permission structures for political violence. Here’s the proof: The same voices excusing rhetoric against @charliekirk11 immediately after his assassination (including Obama himself) would never tolerate it against Obama. If anyone posted, ‘I don’t support political violence, BUT…’ and then criticized Obama, the Secret Service would be at their door.

You can condemn political violence, AND you can criticize someone you disagree with. But do both in the same breath, and you’re creating permission structures for violence. Look, even the headline about Obama’s speech has a big fat “BUT.” He’s no better than any of the others inflaming tensions, and he’s doing nothing to bring the temperature down.
