सर्वोच्च न्यायालयातील सरन्यायाधीश मा. भूषण गवई यांच्यावर न्यायालयाच्या आवारातच हल्ल्याचा प्रयत्न झाल्याची घटना ही अत्यंत धक्कादायक व अस्वस्थ करणारी आहे. न्यायव्यवस्थेच्या सर्वोच्च आसनावर असणाऱ्या व्यक्तीला अशा प्रकारे लक्ष्य करण्याची बाब चीड आणणारी आहे. न्यायव्यवस्थेवर दबाव आणण्याचे डावपेच लोकशाहीच्या मूलभूत मूल्यांना घातक आहेत.

सुदृढ लोकशाही टिकून राहावी यासाठी न्यायालयाचा सन्मान राखणे, न्यायमूर्तींची सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करणेच्या बाबींकडे सरकारने लक्ष द्यावे. केंद्रसरकारने या प्रकरणात न्यायाधीशांचा अवमान करणाऱ्यांविरुद्ध कायद्याच्या चौकटीत राहून कठोरात कठोर कारवाई करावी, अशा घटना पुन्हा घडू नयेत यासाठी सुरक्षा उपाययोजना अधिक बळकट कराव्यात.

न्यायसंस्थेचा सन्मान आणि स्वातंत्र्य हेच आपल्या लोकशाहीचे आधारस्तंभ आहेत. या आधारस्तंभांना धक्का पोहोचू नये यासाठी सरकार, समाज आणि प्रत्येक नागरिकाने जागरूक राहणे ही काळाची गरज आहे.

🔥📛 SC: To decide Revenue challenge to IMA Judgment on 'mutuality' principle

➡️ The Supreme Court has admitted the Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by the Revenue against the Kerala High Court judgment that struck down a key GST provision. The matter is scheduled for hearing in September 2025.

➡️ The Division Bench of the Kerala High Court allowed IMA’s appeal, holding that supplies by an association (like IMA) to its own members are not taxable under GST due to the principle of mutuality. It declared the 2021 amendment inserting Section 7(1)(aa) as constitutionally invalid.

➡️ Representing the Revenue, the Additional Solicitor General cited the Explanation to Section 7(1)(aa), which includes a non-obstante clause aimed at shielding the provision from being invalidated by judicial decisions.

➡️ Senior Advocate, appearing for IMA, argued that unless a constitutional amendment is introduced, the Explanation cannot salvage the provision if the parent clause itself has been held unconstitutional.

➡️ The Supreme Court clarified that no recovery proceedings shall be initiated against IMA for the past period, offering interim relief pending final adjudication in September 2025.

गुजरात के अहमदाबाद में गुरुवार (12 जून, 2025) को बड़ा विमान हादसा हो गया है. अहमदाबाद एयरपोर्ट से लंदन के लिए उड़ान भरने वाला एयर इंडिया का विमान क्रैश हो गया. हादसे में केवल 1 व्यक्ति की ही जान बच सकी बाकी 241 लोगों की मौत हो गई. उसी में प्लेन में ये NRI परिवार भी सवार था, जो बकरीद पर लंदन से भारत आया था. विमान हादसे में पूरा परिवार खत्म हो गया.
