President Trump, at the start of the war, you spoke about Iranian political prisoners facing the risk of execution. Were their cases raised as part of today’s agreement with the Islamic Republic, or are they now expected to be sacrificed and forgotten?
Please answer!
@POTUS
It's difficult to discuss an MOU that is not public -- the precise terms of which we do not know. If it is done and will be signed in 48-72 hours, let's see it.
And regardless of the terms, my understanding is that there is another 60-day period of negotiation. I assume that involves the particulars.
My view has not changed because the Iranian regime is what it is -- that is, it will violate whatever final agreement is signed, certainly after the end of the Trump administration. And I doubt any future president, certainly not a Democrat, will enforce it, which would require military action.
We have the enemy where we want it. We may never again. It was right to attack them, and in a few weeks' time they were on their back. We hit the brakes for 9 weeks. First the Israelis and then we went back to military action this week, and the regime was badly damaged beyond the original damage. Rather than destroy it, including arming the Iranian people, we have an MOU and future negotiations.
More later, as we learn some actual facts.
This morning they executed Erfan Kiani. A young man from Isfahan. His family wasn’t even allowed to share a photo of him before they killed him.
Meanwhile our president is thanking the IRGC for “respecting his request” on 8 women. Women the regime says were never going to be executed.
Every day, more names. Every day, more rope.
You don’t thank the executioners. You don’t call them more reasonable. You don’t negotiate with them. You don’t repackage them, rebrand them, and call it regime change.
You stop them.
Whether or not Europe stands with us, whether or not your journalists do their jobs, whether or not your politicians demonstrate the courage to act, I will fight for my people and my country.
Washington’s priority right now is clear: take Iran’s nuclear enrichment off the table and prevent a wider war. For Iranians, the priority is regime change and dismantling the machinery that has repressed us for 45 years. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf is not a symbol of that change. He is a former IRGC commander and security chief with a long record in crushing dissent, now posting gibberish about “vibe‑trading digital oil” while he fronts for the same apparatus. You cannot use the same system that beat students in the streets to deliver freedom for those same people, no matter how you dress it up. @marklevinshow@LauraLoomer@marcorubio@SenMullin@LindseyGrahamSC
This isn’t abstract. This is about stopping the deadly Iranian regime before it’s too late.
I lay out exactly what we’re dealing with—a regime that has spent decades slaughtering its own people, exporting terrorism, and targeting innocent lives across the region. A regime that has openly threatened the United States and Israel—and is actively pursuing nuclear weapons.
So the question is simple: if you know what they intend to do—and they’ve told you—do you wait?
This is about preventative action, not aggression. When a regime is responsible for mass death, terror, and instability across places like Lebanon, Yemen, Gaza, and Iraq, and is racing toward nuclear capability, the cost of inaction becomes unthinkable.
If you can stop it—if you can prevent even greater destruction—shouldn’t you?

@PahlaviReza
پ ن: به مرور هر چه ار این ملاقات عجیب یادم بیاد رو مینویسم.

If reports of a 20 year ban on Iran’s enrichment are accurate, and I doubt it, that would be a terrible concession.
There’s no need for any concessions. The Iranian regime will collapse if we keep the pressure on.
