Today, we've written to @Ofcom asking it to investigate whether X's decision to distribute Citizen Vigilante meets the platform's duties under the Online Safety Act.

The film's most widely circulated scene shows its lead character executing an entire family in their apartment. It was denied an age certification in Germany. The director has said he was told this was because it incites violence against migrants.

It was uploaded to X directly by the platform's owner, to his own account, and made available to millions.
