There is also this one: 'the worse floods in 30 years'. This statement means NOTHING if you don't tell us what happened 30 years ago. Context matters.

What happened in Valencia is not going to wake us up, is it. Scientists say it was powered by climate change. Radio presenters and commentators are ignoring that and lying to themselves that it's just a random event. Like the recent flooding in France, the insane flooding in Poland a month ago, the devastation of North Carolina a few weeks back, the record hot summer globally, the record hot year globally etc. We simply refuse to even seriously face climate change let alone act.

* 2°C leads to self-warming up to 2.5°C
