Mukul if required used to argue in Gujarati in Gujarat High court. We used to fight in English. We never imposed our food choices on each other. @free_thinker can speak both Gujarati and Bangla, infact he enjoys not only
Bangla and Guju food but also enjoyes different national or international cousins.
People must have freedom to eat whatever he/she likes, to wear whatever dress he/she wants. Language also should not be imposed. Each up to its choice. Ordinary people must have that much freedom atleast.

SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.

The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.

Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.

Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.

As a follow up to @IndianExpress story on ‘CEC vs ECs’, official documents accessed by RTI Activist Commodore Lokesh Batra (Retd) sheds more light on the issue.

Election Commissioners Dr Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr Vivek Joshi wrote to Union Cabinet Secretary individually on the issue of change in ‘work allocation order’ by Maneesh Garg, Sr Deputy Election Commissioner on July 29.

Cabinet Secretariat decided to seek the opinion of the CEC Gyanesh Kumar on Aug 3. (No information on whether CEC responded to the Cabinet Secretariat).

Union Cabinet Secretary, TV Somanathan acknowledged the letters of the two ECs Dr SS Sandhu and Dr Vivek Joshi on Aug 5.

On Aug 24, Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Election Commissioner was moved out of ECI while the two Election Commissioners complained against Maneesh Garg.

Importantly, Sanjay Kumar was handling the ‘Electoral Roll’ division in ECI before he was moved out of ECI.

The officer handling the ‘Electoral Roll’ division was moved out of ECI in the middle of SIR’ exercise.

A video showing an elderly woman pulling a stretcher herself at Rajkot Civil Hospital in Gujarat has raised questions about patient assistance facilities at the hospital. The woman was reportedly taking a relative for treatment.

Following the video's circulation, hospital accounts officer M.S. Roy said an inquiry was underway and a notice had been issued to the agency concerned. The hospital administration also said it would prepare a standard operating procedure (SOP) to prevent such incidents and ensure attendants are available to move patients on stretchers.

New ECI trick to hide information:

Gyanesh Kumar's ECI is now trying a new trick to avoid furnishing information that can be inconvenient to him.

RTI requests are being rejected basically claiming that "Public Information Officers of ECI have other work and are busy"

This is nonsense because:

👉 Election work is ECI's permanent job. If that excuses delays/not giving info, ECI would never have to reply.

👉 ECI must appoint as many CPIOs as needed. Understaffing is ECI's failure, not the citizen's burden

👉 It has been RULED by CIC several times (e.g. Shiv Babu v MCD) that staff shortage and work overload are not excuses that can be given for not replying in time or for not providing information

Basically Gyanesh Kumar is now in panic mode and is using all kind of excuses to avoid getting caught.

Question is: HOW BIG are the scams at the ECI that they would go to any extent to hide information?
