I am a vegetarian, and animal offering has no place within my sampradaya. Yet I will never stand in silent acquiescence when the paramparas of other Hindu sects, sampradayas are vilified, curtailed, or proscribed. I stand firmly in defense of the right of the hindus who are upholding their ancestral rites of animal sacrifice.

A secular state has no adhikara to intrude upon or adjudicate the sacred rituals of Hindu temples. The judiciary is or the Supreme Court is not the custodian of Hindu sastra or sampradaya. Nor is the Central Govt some self-appointed ecclesiastical authority empowered to dictate what Hindus may or may not perform within their sanctuaries.
