Last week I met our government in the courts to continue my legal case against #HS2 , the judges are now deliberating & will announce a decision soon.
In the meantime here are 10 reasons why HS2 should be stopped immediately , for people and planet.
@pedrojuk @ChrisGPackham There are some areas which look like the orcs of Mordor have raided hobbiton. This loss of nature and #biodiversity is devastating to local communities. #ClimateAction
108 ancient woodlands are set to be destroyed by HS2 . Don’t let this be their last Christmas . Make a pledge to stand for the trees at https://t.co/VtbR3rzlbC #ReThinkHS2 Sound on .

"We are dependent on the natural world for every breath of air we take and every mouthful of food we eat. But it's even more that that we are also dependent on it for our sanity and sense of proportion"

@motleycreuset@NTI26637228@Castafi0re @frances_cutler @stophs2 It’s a fact that the environment this construction passes through will be affected as well as a loss of habitat for nature and indigenous species. It is also a fact that billions could be spent on greener industries locally/ nationally to provide jobs and a sustainable future
Why spend millions on #HS2 when it destroys the landscape and wild places? #savebiodiversity. The way people are working is changing. People work remotely. Rethink what we really need. Save the environment and invest wisely @stophs2
