Safe parents can have clear, solid evidence of #DomesticAbuse, but #FamilyCourt are reluctant to accept this evidence.
Safe parents are blamed, have their mental health scrutinised, their words twisted, & are treated as the perpetrator. All for trying to protect their children 🤷‍♀️

I've said this before but I'll say it again.
I had the upmost respect for the #Law.
I respected the #police I had respect for #socialworkers and #socialservices and #FamilyCourt.
Until I had need of help.
I then learned how truly awful, uneducated, unknowledgable these "professionals" truly are.
How much they fail and it was like I'd been knocked sideways.
All my beliefs ripped from me.
I've never talked back to a professional that I recall. I've always respected authority until I had to deal with this lot.
I do not respect them. I don't have the same respect for solicitors and barristers any longer and I most certainly don't have respect for social workers and judges.
What ive realised is respect is earned its not freely given.
I've found myself talking back to them. The first time I've repeatedly challenged authority.
I've broken the law by speaking out the first law that I have ever broken.
It's actually made a piece inside of me die but somethings more important to me.
#Justice and the #truth and standing up for #vulnerable people.
If you don't follow your competencies, if you don't follow the law, if you don't give 2 accounts, if you lie,if you degrade people you will never, ever have my respect.
I don't care if you're the highest solicitor, barrister, social worker or judge in this country.
That's hoe bad it's got.
If these people can't be honest and do their jobs they don't deserve my respect or yours.
The blame doesn't lie with us, it lies with them.
I don't give a crap that judges don't like yo be criticised or family court doesn't.
Put it this way just about everyone bar them are criticising them so they should take responsibility for that!

@SheraFamily Oh and if there was ever any domestic abuse allegations be prepared for them to be squashed as basically according to everyone you are so mentally unstable that you made them up just to get custody. Despite police & medical reports & evidence of abuse.

@SheraFamily If you end up having to have a psychological report done on you be prepared for that to destroy you also as lord forbid you play with balloons with your child n they hit you in the head with the balloon as fun as far as they are concerned the child has anger issues at you.

@lifechangeplans @lifechangeplans I attended court today & the judge basically refused to believe coercive control exists. Let alone the effect the trauma has on you. Family court is just a playground of professionals to label the victim/ survivor & re-traumatise & destroy you. And they succeed.

@JaneM59 I attended court today and the judge even admitted coercion doesn’t exist. What chance have I got fighting when the judge refused to believe the effect of trauma and how coercion control will destroy you.

@JWillsonLaw The use of & misuse of certain tools for evaluation of “Mother’s Personality “ need to sit within a human rights perspective. They can be abusive practices & destroy lives. They can be “manipulated “ to mean whatever the investigator wishes them to mean.

@DrJessTaylor Sadly I reported my abuse & marital rape - got my children taken off of me and got branded mental and unstable & judge refused to believe coercive behaviour & actually dismissed it.Should have stayed being abused & raped would have still had my children.

The sad part is the narcissist would act all kind and caring to lull them into a false sense of belief as they would know they had to be on their best behaviour. And all the parties would fall for it. Seen it so many times.

Put them in a room with someone who can act like an enraged narcissistic controller. Let them be subjected to the manipulation, verbal abuse, sarcastic comments. In your face intimidating behaviour and threats to financial security.

Sadly the courts and judges don’t seem to care about what women have to say. However if it was a man saying he has been abused they would be believed and supported, women are expected to stay quiet and toe the line.

Judges & court staff must be trained to understand & identify coercive control. Often the coercive controller is awarded custody of the children. Empirical research shows that in custody cases involving domestic violence, children are at almost double the risk for child abuse.
