Advocating for restoring 4 Freedoms of Movement after Brexit in UK/EU/EEA/Switzerland (people, goods, services, capital). #SaveFOM#UKEUMobility#RejoinMarch ⭐️
On EU Freedom of Movement.
Do you want an extra 450 Million people to have the right to live and work in the UK, and in return get the right to live and work in 27 countries you for the most part have no desire to even visit outside of France and Spain?
‘Australia without migrant workers’
Who made this? 👏
Mandatory viewing for any fool who still doesn’t understand the implications of slamming the gates shut.
Took my sister for a drive through Brightwell-cum-Sotwell today,(just round the corner from where we live) & was delighted to see so many EU flags on houses. BTW in case anyone's forgotten it's where Boris Johnson lives.Looks like his neighbours are giving him a message.🇪🇺
Freedom of Movement to allow EU citizens to work, rest and play in Britain.
Filling jobs, paying taxes, learning English. Bringing their charm and warmth to Britain. Giving us diversity and different cultures.
It’ll be so good to have them back again.
BREXIT : I would like to ask a cross section of the public some simple questions.
1. Do you feel you was mislead to by Johnson and Gove about the benefits of Brexit .
2. Should we have left the EU.
3. Have you seen any benefit being out the EU.
4. Have you or your business suffered in anway .
5. Would you like to rejoin the EU
Please give honest answers and no jokers please

Dear @EUdelegationUK & Amb
@jukka_salovaara,
Speaking as a fervent Rejoiner who spent 23 years in EU institutions, I’ve never seen an EU policy create such prolonged bad PR in the UK as the EES which @SimonCalder describes as ‘a game of frontier roulette’. It needs fixing, fast.
I don’t agree with getting to the airport 3 hours before.
If everyone does that, it makes the problem worse because you need an airport 50% bigger than one where people only have to get there 2 hours before.
And do we really want to have to get to an airport 3 hours before a 1.5 hour flight?
I don’t think so.
I travel a lot and really can be standing in long queues like this. That’s not exceptionalism. It’s about user experience and customer service.
It’s really time to challenge the level of border friction we want between countries in Europe. I think this friction is bad for all of us
(…and doesn’t even do anything to solve the ‘weaponised’ migration challenges that Europe as a whole faces).
Could restoring freedom of movement help unlock the Brexit impasse?
Save Freedom of Movement founder Andrew Hesselden explains why it could be an important part of rebuilding the UK’s relationship with Europe.

No 'probably' about any of this. UK would be much better off in the single market, which by definition means reducing trade barriers and benefitting from free movement of people, goods, services, capital. The single market literally *is* EU rules - that's how it removes red tape.
"The EU could easily remove all the checks for people from the UK" if the UK wholly reciprocates for the EU.
It is called reciprocal freedom of movement & being part of the same Common Travel Area, under *mutually recognised* legal oversight & authority; jurisdiction.
Here it is called Schengen.
Otherwise you get the unavoidable checks (as per all the borders between any two *different* - not *mutually recognised* - legal jurisdictions).
None of this would be an issue but for Brexit, so of course it is *all* Brexit's fault.
As for "boycott the place", how stupid can you be @rstk8?
The EU has a message for governments: migration is no longer a choice, it's an economic necessity. 🇪🇺
Europe's population is ageing, birth rates are falling, and the workforce is shrinking. A new EU demographics report warns that without migration, the bloc will struggle to fill jobs, finance pensions and sustain economic growth. By 2038, people over 65 are expected to outnumber those aged 20–40, fundamentally reshaping Europe's labour market.

More chaos on day 2 of EU border arrangements at Gibraltar airport. Arrived 9.25am. Queued for an hour to use the single entry exit machine by gates (takes facial scans; fingerprints). If already registered you can go to gate. Unfortunately machines were broken when i arrived 1/
